If you ask them, supplying the details, they will send you a replacement
code. I was in the same situation.

My computer was stolen and I lost the registration code for Wordsmith tools
4. I've borrowed a computer but without the registration code I can't use
the software.
I can't afford to purchase another code for I'm unemployed at the moment,
and I need the software to finish my thesis.
If someone could send me a code I would be grateful. I'm running out of
time.
I feel embarrassed making such request but I could think of no other
solution.
