    CALL FOR PAPERS

    The organisers invite the submission of abstracts for the conference
    EUROCALL 2005, to be held in Cracow, Poland 24-27 August 2005.

    As in 2003 and 2004, there will be a strand of papers on corpora at the

    following suggestions:
    * Good practice in language corpora and e-learning
    * Language teaching and learner corpora
    * Computers and Technology in Teaching
    * Beyond Corpora. What else can corpora offer?
    * Challenges for computer-assisted applied linguistics
    * Human-Computer interaction

    Selected papers from the conference will be published in the journal
    ReCALL Vol 18 in May 2006.

    A Special Interest Group on corpora has also been created within
    EUROCALL. Information on the SIG is available on the SIG website
    (http://www.corpuscall.org.uk) and in two recent articles in the
    EUROCALL Newsletter. (On the EUROCALL website,
    http://www.eurocall-languages.org/, follow the link to NEWS. The
    articles on the corpus SIG are in numbers 5 and 6.)
