    Dear All,

It seems that Ute has figured out how to save ICE-GB as a plain text file, from
within ICECUP. Just to clarify: you can open the whole corpus by
double-clicking on "ICE-GB(by Text Category)" in the corpus map. The whole
corpus will now open in the right-hand window. To save it, click on "Save" and
choose the "Plain text" option. The file will be saved to c:\icecup3\output (it
may take a while, as the whole corpus is a big file). You can save also any
subset of the corpus in the same way: just double-click on the relevant
subcorpus (eg, "Direct conversations") in the corpus map, and Save, as before.

    Hope this helps,

    Gerry Nelson
