    Dear all,

I just found out -- and thought I should let you know -- that the Collins Cobuild Concordance and Collocations Sampler is back online. See http://www.collins.co.uk/Corpus/CorpusSearch.aspx. The design is slightly different (modern minimalist...) but the features are basically the same (afai could tell). You still get a maximum of 40 concordance lines, though unfortunately displayed in a new format, still kind of KWIC but with a proportional font, the lines embedded in a table, and more context/co-text than before (200 characters per line, which has advantages and disadvantages I think). Cutting and pasting the output to a Word or text file helps; and with a font size of 6 or 7, Courier New, landscape format you can get a display of one concordance example per line in your doc, not fully centred though. Oh, yes and you have to enable popups so your result windows don't get blocked.

    Best wishes... Ute
