As the webmaster for ACL's SIGLEX, I have categorized some 1265 CORPORA
messages according to a "SIGLEX Ontology" (a simple hierarchy), so as to
enable a subject oriented linkage to the CORPORA mailing list archive.
It can be found at http://www.clres.com/corparchive.html. These links
cover the period from 1997 to the present (through January 31, 2003).
As indicated, these links are generated automatically (using some Perl
scripts that take only a minute or two) and will be updated regularly.
At the present time, my categorization and placement of messages is not
well developed and I would be grateful for any suggestions with either
the category scheme or the slotting of individual messages (which can be
placed in multiple categories with no difficulty).
I have not included conference announcements, job postings,
announcements of specific corpora (since links to these are usually
provided elsewhere), or requests for particular types of corpora
(although I have attempted to include subsequent messages or summaries
that provide links to these types of corpora).
Any comments or suggestions will be gratefully received. The more the
better for the community.
