    Lectureship in Phonetics

    Linguistics at Lancaster is seeking to appoint a scholar in the area of English
    phonetics. Applicants must have completed a PhD, be able to demonstrate a solid
    training in English phonetics and be capable of doing research using the latest
    speech technologies. Applicants should have expertise in acoustic and/or
    articulatory phonetics and a developing track record of research in one at
    least of the following areas: English accents (in the UK or worldwide), lab
    phonology or speech science (i.e. speech production, speech disorders).
    Applicants would be expected to contribute to teaching at all levels.
