Tenure-track Position in Speech Recognition at the Ohio State
    University

The Department of Computer and Information Science invites applications for
several tenure-track/tenured positions. A target area of recruiting for 2003 is
speech recognition, which complements existing campus-wide research activities.

Appointments at all ranks will be considered. Applicants for an assistant
professor position should hold or be completing a Ph.D. in computer science and
engineering or a closely related field, and have a commitment to excellent
research and quality teaching. Applicants for a senior position should also
demonstrate a strong record of external funding and impact on their field.
