Corpora: free parser for English

    Dear List Members,

    I'm looking for a free parser for English running on Windows.
    My ideal parser should take a flat file as input and return
    a "parsed" file as output.

    I'm trying to use the "Link Parser" in batch mode, but it seems
    difficult to call the Link Parser API from my algorithm.

    I need an output "parsed" file containing syntactic labels or any
    kind of syntactic markup, because I want to count the different types
    of phrase in a text.

    Any suggestions?
