Head of the Language Technology Transfer Centre
The German Research Centre for Artificial Intelligence is searching for
a senior software engineer/scientist of high calibre to acquire and
manage industrial research and development projects in the Language
Technology Lab.
Ideally, you should have the following profile:
- extensive experience in software development,
- a good background in Language Technology,
- excellent communication skills,
- experience in project planning and management in an industrial
context,
- interest in the transfer of technology from application oriented
research into industry.
Experience of systems in one or more of the following application areas
would be very beneficial:
Information, Knowledge, Content and Document Management.
Very good knowledge of the German language (written and spoken) is
highly desired.
Your tasks would include:
- the acquisition, planning and management of development projects,
- the coordination of R&D activities in the DFKI Language Technology
Lab,
- the transfer of R&D results to industry.
