             Implementation and Machine Learning for Optimality Theory

    The Center for Language and Cognition, Groningen (CLCG) has an opening for a
    graduate student (four-year position) who is interested in doing research on
    computational simulation and machine learning for OT. We invite qualified
    applications for this position.

    The Rijksuniversiteit Groningen offers the recipient of graduate student
    stipends a gross salary beginning at gross NLG 3.242 (EUR 1.473) per month
    in the first year and rising to NLG 4.362 (EUR 1.982) in the last year.
    Graduate student fellows receive a contract for one year extendible for
    three further years subject to evaluation after one. The research project
    has to lead to a Ph.D. dissertation.
