    Hello,

Below is the sumary of the replies that I received to the question about
syntactic parsers for morphologically rich languages.

    -------------------------------------------------------------

Eckhard Bick pointed to his morphological and syntactic parser running for
    Portuguese at http://visl.sdu.dk/visl.

    -------------------------------------------------------------

Vladimir V. Gojol from Institutul National de Informatica Bucuresti, Romania
has a POS tagger and parser for English and German with the demo available at
    request.

    -------------------------------------------------------------

Atro Voutilainen points out that in addition to the widely known parser for
English, Conexor http://www.conexor.fi has parsers for Spanish, Finnish and
Swedish and that first releases for French and German are planned for spring
    2001.

    -------------------------------------------------------------

Hristo Tanev pointed out to a part-of-speech tagger and partial parser for
Bulgarian language which is described in

Tanev H., Ruslan Mitkov TLINGUA S a robust
architecture for text processing and anaphora
resolution in BulgarianC, MT2000 , Machine Translation
and Multilingual Application in the New Millenium,
International Conference at the University of Exeter
            20-22 November 2000, pp. 20-1 S 20-8

    -------------------------------------------------------------

Kemal Oflazer from Sabanci Universitesi points to his papers about parsing
    Turkish with LFG at http://www.sabanciuniv.edu/people/kemaloflazer/

    -------------------------------------------------------------

Kees Koster from Katolieke Universiteit Nijemigen suggested to take a look at
an interesting piece of software - AGFL parser generator for linguistic
applications at http://www.cs.kun.nl/agfl which will soon be available under
    the GPL license.

    -------------------------------------------------------------

Gabriel Pereira Lopes sent a url to the web page of Vitorio Rocio
http://pc-gpl.di.fct.unl.pt/~vjr/ where one can find publications on
    parsing Portuguese.

    -------------------------------------------------------------

Tomas Erjavec points to the site http://nl.ijs.si/lll that has papers
related to the morphological analysis of Slovene.

    -------------------------------------------------------------

Koldo Gojenola Galletebeitia points to a number of papers on morphological and
syntactic analysis of Basque at http://ixa.si.ehu.es/dokument/artiksail.html
