Corpora: Alignment indicators in parallel corpora

Dear All,

I have used line-feeds to indicate aligned structures in parallel texts and I
seem to remember others using structures such as <s 267>.

If you have any references to or knowledge of types of alignment markers
currently in use, I would appreciate hearing from you.
