I have not been following the V-ing thread carefully (and I only have the BNC
Sampler), but I hope that the Tag Search option in MonoConc Pro 2.0 will be
useful. The syntax of the search is word&tag with any combination of words
and/or tags possible. Wildcard characters ?, % and * can be used in the
specification of the words or the tags, as can a range character @.

Furthermore, meta-tags can be defined so that multiple searches can be
avoided and the tagset of the corpus can be personalised to some extent.

Once the results are found, the POS tags (or the normal tags) can be
    suppressed.

I hope this is reasonably clear. If you have questions, please contact me off
    the list.
