Hello

I'm a MA student in Applied Linguistics at the Catholic University of =
S=E3o Paulo-Brazil, and I'd like to have information about research on =
lexical innovations in newspaper corpora. What are the methodologies for =
identifying innovations? I'm aware of the article entitled 'Chronicling =
the Times: Productive lexical innovations in an English Newspaper. =
Language 7", by Baayen, R. Harald e Antoniette Renolf (1996), where they =
describe an investigation on lexical innovations in THE TIMES looking at =
the productiveness of affixes in the English language.=20

Thanks a lot in advance.=20

Marli Beraldi.
