I'm planning to develope a little TR system over the Internet, and I'm considering using Perl programming language, especially because of its text management facilities and its portability. Well, on the one hand I would appreciate any opinion or suggestion about using Perl for TR.
On the other hand, is there available Perl code for TR, (the Porter stemming algorithm, any Baeza-Yates book algorithm, etc), so that I don't have to "start from scratch"?
