I personnally use a tagger commercialized by the Synapse company, called
"Cordial Universités". It runs under Windows, is easy to install, and its
efficiency is state-of-the-art. The tagset is based on the one I developed
in the Multext project (http://www.lpl.univ-aix.fr/projects/multext), that
was also used in the Grace evaluation (http://www.limsi.fr/TLP/grace/).

It is cheap, around 100 dollars, but you can have more precise information
from Synapse: <info@synapse-fr.com>.

ps: if you need information on French tools and resources, there is a
discussion list devoted to French NLP (ln@cnusc.fr), which I happened to
create about ten years ago and which is now moderated by Philippe Blache &
Pierre Zweigenbaum. information at http://www.biomath.jussieu.fr/LN-FR/LN/.
