I'm working on knowledge extraction from tagged texts. It would help me if
I could find the functional structure of sentences (SVO etc) without using
a parser. Does anyone know of any work to identify verb subjects and
objects from PoS tagged text? Can it be done, in theory? Or is it
ridiculously simple i.e. just use word order (I'm talking English, here)?
