Hello,
I am a student of linguistics at The University of South Australia, and
am researching the effects of codification of teller machine language (
as displayed on screens) and the possibility of user
code-switching during the interaction.
I am specialising in research into users in the over 50's age bracket,
due to their pre-computer age language development.
Do you know of any research that has been undertaken in this area,
i.e., Teller machine programming, (Language and linguistic
interfacing)? Or perhaps other research where the is a human interface
required. Not including normal computer uses.
