I was wondering if there have been any attempts to build large grammars
for any language based on distituency, except the effort described by
Magerman & Marcus 90.
A distituent grammar is "a list of tag pairs which cannot be adjacent within
a constituent", such as noun+preposition.
I would appreciate any kind of reply on the matter (bibliography etc).
In connection to that I wonder if "chink and chunk" grammars considered
to belong
in the same family? Any ideas?
