I previously posted:
LECTURER (permanent) in SCHOOL OF COMPUTER STUDIES, with strong research
background in any of our principal areas (including corpus-based NLP!)
- for details, see http://www.scs.leeds.ac.uk/dch_job.html
DEADLINE 6th April 1998

Anyone interested should ALSO consider applying for:

University of Leeds RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP in
Computer Science with emphasis on interdisciplinary studies (Ref. URF/98/3)
Initially 3/5-year research post; subject to performance assessment, the Fellow
should expect to be appointed to a permanent lectureship/senior lectureship
at the conclusion of the research fellowship; up to 30K grant earmarked
for Fellowship; salary c21K-28K, for further info see
http://www.scs.leeds.ac.uk/research_fellows.html
DEADLINE 30th April 1998

NOTE that the two posts are funded and appointed to by separate committees,
(Lectureship by the School, Research Fellowship by the University central
research administration), so candidates will be considered separately
and should apply separately to the two posts (even though the `job
descrptions' have considerable potential overlap!)
