Corpora: Who coined the term 'corpus linguistics'?

Someone just asked me this question and, to my surprise, I wasn't
able to give an answer that I was sure was accurate. I said I
thought it was Nelson Francis sometime between 1959-1961. Can anyone
confirm/correct/expand on my 'answer'? I'll post the answer(s) to the
list.
