I'm looking for pointers to work on the acquisition of
subcategorization frames for languages OTHER THAN English. This
includes attempts to apply approaches like Brent's, Manning's,
etc. (originated for English) to other languages, as well as
refinements or alternative approaches. Chinese and German are of
particular interest, but I'd appreciate any references at all.
(Searching the cmp-lg archive and doing a general Web search have not
led to success so far.)
I will be happy to post a summary of the responses I receive.
