I believe corpus-analysis software was mentioned a while ago that could
handle Chinese characters.

I'd appreciate any suggestions. The query originally comes from someone
who would like to have a simple dos or Windows program to do 'word' counts
(I think counts of characters, and character sequences so as to determine
the rate of collocation of characters).
