I was wondering if anyone could offer some advice on getting hold of medical
patient records. I need an online corpus of records (e.g. PDSs) in a
specific subdomain, e.g. cancer, asthma, etc. but am having trouble getting
hold of one. (It doesn't matter that much which area as long as it is
represented in SNOMED / UMLS.) I have approached various hospitals and
medical groups but they all seem very reluctant because of ethical reasons
(even though I have assured them I will delete all patient names etc. and
maintain strict confidentiality).
