Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University has great interest in analysis of the use
of English in aviation generally, beginning with the development of an aviation
English corpus, and specifically with descriptions and applications of flight
communications, viz. the language of air traffic control, radio communications,
flight instructor - student pilot exchange, flight communications training
materials, and the like.
I would appreciate hearing from anyone doing work in this field and/or about
references to available materials on these topics.
