I'm posting this request on behalf of a colleague who is involved in
research into vocabulary acquisition by school children in the
British education system and the teaching of vocabulary within the
National Curriculum. She's collecting and transcribing audio
recordings of classroom interaction and would like to know of any
existing corpora of relevant speech and of other work being done in
this area.

I'd be grateful for any information.
