DEPARTMENT OF LINGUISTICS AND PHONETICS
Three Lectureships
Three posts are available from September 1996, (two on three-year rolling
contracts, the third on a permanent basis), as part of a major development and
expansion in teaching and research in Linguistics within the School of Modern
Languages.
The applicants will be specialists in current syntactic theory, practical and
experimental phonetics, or another field of linguistics (preferably text
processing/ language corpora, suprasegmental phonology or historical
linguistics).
Salary will be on the scale for Lecturer Grade A (£15,154 - £19,848 p.a.) or
Grade B (£20,677 - £26,430 p.a.) according to qualifications and relevant
experience.
