cognitive aspects of Speech Acts. In order to do so, I think it would be
useful to work with a corpus of Speech Acts verbs and Speech Acts
utterances (in their conventionalized, not lexicalized, form. e.g. Can you
pass me the salt, please? =3DREQUEST).
I wonder if anybody on the list knows something about Speech Acts corpora
or the existence of any of them.
I would also appreciate any suggestions on how to construct such kind of a
corpus, as my knowledge of Computational Linguistics almost equals zero.
