Job Opportunities at Oxford University
Oxford Text Archive - Humanities Computing Unit

Following selection of the Oxford Text Archive as Service Provider for
Electronic Textual Resources by the nationally-funded Arts and
Humanities Data Service, we are now trying to fill a number of
exciting new jobs. We're looking for energetic and enthusiastic
electronic text specialists with a range of skills. TEI-hackers,
corpus-lovers, UNIX-fiends, SGML-junkies, and computing
humanists of all flavours are particularly welcome. If you like
working in a research support environment, and think you have
something to contribute to our work, we'd like to hear from you.

The jobs currently on offer include:

- Head of Oxford Text Archive [up to GBP 26,340]: a senior managerial post
responsible for the future development of the OTA
- Computing Officer [up to GBP 18,294] : a software development post
responsible for enhancing our online services
- Resource Development Officer [up to GBP 18,294] : a joint appointment
with the University English faculty, responsible for promoting use of
digital resources (in particular the British National Corpus)
