I am seeking information about tools for working with interlinear text
- text in which there are one or more lines of information that
annotate a given utterance. Each annotation line may contain a
different type of information, e.g. levels of linguistic analysis such
as morphology, synatx, and semantics. The annotations should be
aligned with the units of analysis of the utterance, e.g., words of a
sentence could be aligned with syntactic categories.

Some years ago there was a tool of this type called "IT" for DOS,
developed at the Summer Institute of Linguistics (SIL), but I am not
sure that it still exists. In addition, I would prefer a tool that
runs under Windows, if possible.
