Authorship Testing in the news ("Primary Colors")

After our discussion of authorship testing a couple of weeks ago, I
was interested to see an article in today's paper describing how
someone had done some AT (can we use this acronym^H^H^H^H^H^H^H initialism?)
to identify the author of the recent book, "Primary Colors," whose
author has wished to remain anonymous. I think the article identified
the author as a particular newsmagazine journalist, but I didn't catch
the details.

Does anyone know any specifics about this study? What methods were
used? How reliable are the conclusions?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Jeff
