I'm working on internationalisms (and widespread neologisms): i.e. I'm
investigating the lexicon of the major (European) languages (particulary:
Engl, Ger, Fr., Sp., It, Russ.) in search of increased lexical
standardisation due to greater transnational contacts, especially through
mass media & new media.
Up to now, so far as I know, it is mostly German scholars (see below)
who have dealt with this subject.
I wonder if there is anybody in this group who is working on or interested i=
n
this topic.
Thank you,

Alessio Petralli

PS
Does anybody know how work is progressing on the USADEL (Usage Dictionary of
Anglicisms in Selected European Lamguages) by Manfred Goerlach, University
of Cologne and Doc. Elzbieta Manczak-Wohlfeld, Unywersytet Jagiellonsky?
