I was looking for corpora suitable for studying punctuation marks and
I would like to thank everyone who helped. My original message and
a summary of responses follows:

----------Original Message ----------

I am looking for English corpora suitable for study of punctuation marks.
It should preferably contain originally written material (not
transcribed from speech) on general non-fiction subjects (journalism,
social sciences etc.). Being tagged may also be preferable.

Please email your answers directly to me and I will summarize.

Thanks in advance,

Bilge Say

----------Summary of Responses-------------

Suitable choices suggested were Oxford Text Archive (contact email:
ARCHIVE@VAX.OXFORD.AC.UK), Spoken English Corpus, British National
Corpus (contact email: natcorp@oucs.ox.ac.uk) and tagged LOB corpus
(http://www.hd.uib.no/icame.html).

Thanks again,

Bilge Say
