Once again I am looking for information. I'm sorry if this is an FAQ but I am
looking for a free machine-readable corpus of English. Ideally the corpus would
be of transcribed spoken English but written English would also be acceptable.
The corpus should consist of approx 1 million words and should be available
at an ftp site. I'm sure this information has been asked for many times before
but if anyone is interested in a summary of the information I will post what I
receive to the list.
