SRA has a tool for "Thing Extractor" to extract and SGML-tag noun
phrases, such as person names, location and currency, etc. You may customize
it for your own purpose. The tool provides GUI to allow users either maually
tag the text(NameTool) or define new patterns to tag the text automatically
(NameTag). Both NameTool and NameTag are available in three languages:
English, Spanish and Japanese. They are now working on Chinese, French and
German. For more infomation, please contact Dr. Lisa Rau at lisa_rau@sra.com
