This is for Prof. Chu-Ren Huang or Prof. K.J. Chen.
I received the formal letter applying for ROCLING VIII sponsorship.
I think that now I can, informally, let you know CCL/ITRI would
be able to co-sponsor the conference, because MOEA passed our budget
proposal yesterday (6/21). (However, they said that they might need
to check accounting information of the conference someday.)
I do not know exactly what I should do for the cosponsorship.
Probably, Miss Tsai of ROCLING can tell me about the procedure.
BTW, the application letter did not specify the amount of sponsorship
(please do not exceed NT$100,000).
In addition, please do not exceed the amount of sponsorship from TL
or III, if they also cosponsor ROCLING VIII.
Please list CCL/ITRI as one of the ROCLING VIII co-sponsors in any
further annoucements, program listings, posters, or the proceedings'
cover. If you need a name on any conference committee, use
'Bao-Shuh Paul LIN, Deputy Director General, CCL/ITRI'.
