Associate Software Development Engineer (Core Technologies)

The successful candidate will make up with drive, vision and enthusiasm what
he/she lacks in experience. We are looking for a C programmer with a recent
B.S. in Computer Science who has a strong desire to build leading-edge
technology and is able to seek out new paradigms; in short, a visionary
software architect. He/she will have developed C code on at least one of the
following platforms: Mac, Windows, OS/2, Solaris, DOS. Familiarity with
Object- Oriented Programming is a plus. Exposure to any of the following is
a plus: COM, OLE 2.x, CORBA, Client/Server design, Language orientation is
also a plus; the ideal candidate might have, for instance, an interest in
linguistics or artificial languages, the ability to speak a different
language, or exposure to compiler design. The ability to clearly communicate
designs and problems to both technical and non-technical audiences using both
oral and written skills is critical. We want someone who is ambitious, who
can work
independently with little supervision, who will not hesitate to ask
questions, who can work as part of a team, and who is committed to the
development of a top rate architecture.

Associate Software Development Engineer (Proofing Tools)

We are looking for a C programmer with a recent B.S. in Computer Science who
has a strong desire to create and maintain high quality products. He/she
will have developed C code on at least one of the following platforms: Mac,
Windows, OS/2, Solaris, DOS. Exposure to an assembly language is a plus.
Strong debugging skills are required. Language orientation is also a plus;
the ideal candidate might have, for instance, an interest in linguistics or
artificial languages, the ability to speak a different language, or exposure
to
compiler design. The ability to clearly communicate feature designs and
problems to both technical and non-technical audiences using both oral and
written skills is critical. The successful candidate will be able to
assimilate information and take direction from non- technical teammates.
He/she will also be able to manage tight deadlines and maintain and enhance
a large code base. We want someone who is ambitious, who can work
independently with little supervision as well as as part of a team, who will
not hesitate to ask
questions, and who is committed to the fit and finish of our product.

Software Development Co-op (Core Technologies)

We are looking for a C programmer enrolled in a Computer Science curriculum
who has a strong desire to create and high quality programs. He/she will
have completed a course in Data Structures and developed C code on at least
one of the following platforms: Mac, Windows, OS/2, Solaris, DOS. Course
work in any of the following would be a plus: Computer Architecture,
Compilers,
Operating Systems, or Software Engineering. Language orientation is a plus;
the ideal candidate might have, for instance, an interest in linguistics or
artificial languages or might be able to speak a foreign language. We want
someone who is ambitious, who can work independently with little supervision,
who will not hesitate to ask questions, and who is committed to the
successful completion of a high quality project.
